Logistics Specialist Analyst

JANUS Research Group is currently seeking a Logistics Specialist Analyst for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8. The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• 6 years of experience in the most up to date logistics functions
• The representative will possess a strong working knowledge or have experience with at least 80% of the following: the Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) Process; DFAS4 DOD Operational Data Store (ODS); General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS); Logistic reporting activities (LOGSA); Operating and Support Management Information System (OSMIS); Defense Travel System (DTS); and demonstrate moderate to advanced skills in Probe, Tableau, and Microsoft Office software products.
• Interdisciplinary skill set of PPBE, DOD acquisition process and procedures, and JCIDS
• Force development skills across the domains of DOTMLPF-P in a fiscally constrained environment
• Experience may be obtained at varying levels of Army organizations, but candidates should have experience at most senior levels of the military, such as HQDA, MACOMS, or Service Component Commands
• Secret Security Clearance
