The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India and South East Asia.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Senior HSSE (Health, Safety, Social and Environmental) EPC and O&amp;M (Operations &amp; Maintenance) Manager will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of HSSE programs and systems across ib vogt’s EPC and O&amp;M business. This position will provide leadership and coordination for the overall EPC and O&amp;M HSSE management as well as the assigned projects in accordance to fulfill local HSE- and ib vogt´s HSSE standards.</p><p><strong>Your Job </strong></p><ul><li>Supporting compliance with applicable Health, Safety, social, and environmental regulations and standards.</li><li>Office based work in Berlin, and remote working in Germany.</li><li>Developing, implementing, and managing HSSE programs.</li><li>Managing HSSE ib vogt HSSE Consultants/Advisors across the projects in EU, the UK and other regions.</li><li>Coordinating with the EPC and O&amp;M management team, site management and project management teams, stakeholders, and the corporate ESG department.</li><li>Performing Site HSSE audits/inspections as required.</li><li>International travel up to %30 time.</li><li>Recording, making analysis, and reporting on HSSE metrics.</li><li>Preparing, maintaining Operational HSSE tools, templates, plans etc. in coordination with the Head of EPC and O&amp;M HSSE and the EPC and O&amp;M management team. HSSE Qualification, assessing, managing contractors/subcontractors.</li><li>Identify local occupational health &amp; safety, social, and environmental regulations and standards in countries with ib vogt EPC and O&amp;M activities in consultation with local Consultant parties</li><li>Incident investigation and Route Cause Analysis management. Ensuring incident and accident corrective actions are followed up on and completed</li><li>Emergency preparedness assessment in project site</li><li>PPE management, and support improvement as required</li><li>Ensuring that HSSE training programs are in place</li><li>Act as the point of escalation for local EPC and O&amp;M HSSE issues</li><li>Coordinate the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan with the activities in the photovoltaic plants in the EPC and O&amp;M phases</li><li>Promote and manage proposals for improvement in health, safety, and the environment. </li><li>Review the work procedures and contracts, identify needs, and create and expand HSSE processes</li><li>Managing and ensuring the preventive activities in the EPC and O&amp;M phase as far as reasonably practicable</li><li>Directly support the development of globally relevant HSSE software, documentation, and standards</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Health &amp; Safety&amp; Environmental roles</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Health &amp; Safety Management/Leadership roles within Construction and/or Energy/Utility projects. Experience in regions such as Germany, UK, Spain, Italy, Netherlands is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of international construction HSE best practices.</li><li>Technical basis in Electrical Installations or Construction preferred.</li><li>Proficient in teamwork, teambuilding, and conflict management.</li><li>HSE leadership, communication and management skills.</li><li>Strong planning and organizational skills.</li><li>Business proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with very good communication skills.
