We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior People Partner to lead our people initiatives across Hungary (primary hub) and the EMEA region (France, Germany, UK). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing people strategies that align with our business goals, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with local labour laws. We have a beautiful new office in Budapest where this person will work a hybrid model with at least two days in the office.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives in our key Budapest hub and the EMEA region.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and talent management.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive employee relations environment by addressing grievances and conducting investigations when necessary.

Engagement:

  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement including analyzing data from the Employee Survey to inform people strategies.

Performance Management:

  • Coach local managers on the importance of proactive performance management.
  • Assist with delivery of the performance appraisal process and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with Learning and Development to incorporate regional best practices into company programs.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.

Learning & Development:

  • Identify training needs and collaborate with Learning and Development to craft and deliver programs that will promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Proactively raise items to Compensation and Benefits for review and partner closely to develop recommendations to ensure competitiveness in the local market.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and compliance with local regulations.

HR Policies & Compliance:

  • Develop and implement HR policies in accordance with local labor laws and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across the region.

Data Analytics & Reporting:

  • Utilize HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of people initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on trends and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HRBP experience.
  • Recent experience within a fast-paced global start-up SaaS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across EMEA.
  • Proven experience in building processes and programs from the ground-up.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
