About the role
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations for office utilities and facility equipment in a GMP-regulated environment. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, installation, repair, and documentation of systems used in manufacturing, utility plants, analytical labs, and office areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing, utility, and facility equipment.
- Develop and maintain quality and safety documentation, including SOPs, Work Orders (WO), Job Plans (JP), and Risk Assessments (HRA, JHA).
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with GMP, SOPs, and CFR regulations.
- Provide training and technical support to staff and contractors.
- Review and approve maintenance reports, forms, and procedures.
- Interpret and revise loop sheets, electrical schematics, P&IDs, I/O wiring, and panel drawings.
- Support audit preparation and compliance initiatives.
- Reconcile components/products and calculate product exposure to room temperatures.
Skills:
- Strong Maintenance Experience – hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing, utility, and facility equipment (not plumbing).
- Troubleshooting Systems Expertise – ability to analyze and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- GMP & Compliance Knowledge – experience in filling and finishing manufacturing, preferably vial inspection.
- Technical Proficiency – ability to work with packaging configurations, batch records, and exposure calculations.
- Good Communication & Team Leadership – ability to collaborate and train staff.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree + 4 years of experience OR
- High School Diploma/GED + 6 years of experience
Benefits
Schedule:
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:30 AM), Thursday - Saturday & alternating Wednesdays
- Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (2-6 weeks)
