This position reports to the Senior Manager, Cost & Inventory.
What you will do:
- Support the maintenance of the costing module for both USD and CAD operating units
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month and year end close in accordance with corporate accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure all product inventory and cost of sales are properly recorded in our financial statements
- Execute required system testing for upgrade/enhancements to software
- Direct contact for plant finance with troubleshooting issues and system knowledge
- Review net realizable value and the gross margin for select combination of plants and/or products
- Create reports for various departments within the organization
- Aid with ad hoc queries requested by senior management
- Prepare supporting information used in audits
- Execute and implement continuous improvement initiatives
What you will bring:
- Professional accounting designation with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Oracle financial reporting systems and cost accounting (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think strategically with confidence and speed in execution
- Ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks, projects, stakeholder interests, and deadlines
- Excellent analytical and organization skills with a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment or independently as the need arises
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, PowerQuery)
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range $90,400 - $124,300 annually. This range is estimated for Senior Accountant role in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
