Nightwing is seeking a cleared and experienced Area Security Officer (ASO) in support of USG in the WMA area.
Develop, document, and implement programmatic security processes for client departments
Support the communication and program security status to all customer stakeholders, including briefing and read-in status
Attendance of recurring security meetings to provide updates to customer stakeholders, and gather any security-related action items
Perform customer stakeholder site inspections to identify issues for secure communication systems
Provide training and orientation during new customer/contractor transition periods
Support Security in a diverse range of administrative and program protection security for client departments
Analyze and adjudicate required security reporting (Unofficial Foreign National Contacts, Outside Activities, Personal Foreign Travel)
Process visitor and clearance requests
Facility badge maintenance and vault access control (to include insecure vault investigations)
Recognized as a SME in industrial and personnel security (industrial clearance processing, specializing in crossover processing)
Security compliance manager for portable electronic systems
Investigation, analysis, and adjudication of component security incidents
Provides security guidance and cable coordination
Assists in the maintenance and development of the client-specific security manual
Assists in updating briefing guides for various client-specific compartments and subcompartments
Assists in developing security plans for various client-specific compartments and subcompartments
Assists in developing comprehensive classification guides
Provides operational security requirements for Sponsor efforts
Provides guidance related to programmatic security for client departments
Provides security indoctrinations for client departments
Assist in the yearly Controlled Access Program Coordination Office reporting
Review of client contractor facility checklists to ensure all USG approval signatures are properly documented
Assist with COMSEC security requirements
Train new incoming client officers on program specific security concepts as well as traditional ASO skills
Provides various formal and informal security briefings specific to a relevant topic to the customer
