ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for an Assistant Dormitory Manager.
Description:
• Oversee all 24-7-365 operations of the dormitory to include staffing needs and completion of related paperwork. i.e., weekly timesheets, training, staff meetings, policy implementation and staff discipline
• Use SASS system to monitor room allocations and student arrivals/departures.
• Oversee porter/laundry facility and following up on needed building maintenance and repairs
• Schedule/Ensure rooms are cleaned and ready for incoming students
• Schedule routine vehicle maintenance for dormitory department vehicles
• Conduct room inspections for cleanliness and routine maintenance, and supervision of housekeeping and front desk staff
• Able to act on behalf of the Dormitory Manager in their absence
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of supervision in dormitory operations to include janitorial, housekeeping, laundry distribution.
• Must be an US Citizen
• Must have a valid REAL ID or US issued Passport and able to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be proficient in Microsoft OS
• Availability to flex hours to support 24-hour operations
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be able to sit, stand, raise arms, walk, climb stairs and lift 30 lbs. unassisted
• Clear and effective written and communication skills
Preferred:
• Two years of experience in management and supervision preferably in commercial and institutional housekeeping and guest services
