WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a seasonal Behavioral Intervention Specialist who possesses the empathy, flexibility, and compassion to provide social-emotional and behavioral support for our campers and coaches throughout the 2025 summer camp season. The ideal candidate has an understanding of diverse youth development programs (after school programs, summer camps, sports teams), prior experience providing behavioral / mental health services in an educational or recreation-based setting, and a passion for our mission and values. This would be a seasonal, salaried position from Early May - August 22, 2025.

The Behavioral Intervention Specialist provides on-site and on-call behavioral support and conflict resolution strategies for our camp leadership teams and campers. The Intervention Specialist will offer daily support to our seven camp locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx through a combination of site visits and camper observations, 1-on-1 sessions with camp staff and campers, as well as ongoing communication via calls, emails, and internal messages.
