RegularThe Continuous Improvement Project Manager works with management across all functional areas to eliminate waste, reduce process variation and improve the customer and employee experience. This position leads, facilitates and coordinate training of all belts in Lean Six Sigma tools, methodologies, and leadership to successfully deliver project results. The Continuous Improvement Project Manager will support functional areas strategic objectives by facilitating project identification activities to develop a project pipeline. The position leads advanced complex, multi-functional and high value projects for existing processes to exceed goals and objectives. This position serves as a subject matter expert in LSS methodologies, Leader Standard Work and Connected Workforce Solution.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate LSS White, Yellow, Green Belts training and certification in their assigned sites.
Provide coaching and mentoring in the use of LSS principles to effectively lead projects to reduce waste and increase output.
Coach Yellow and Green belts on Kaizen facilitation.
Lead DMAIC projects in the support of strategic initiatives and the annual plan.
Work with the Operational Excellence Team and business stakeholders to develop and manage the LSS project pipeline ensuring projects are identified, analyzed, prioritized and in alignment with the strategic orientations.
Influence key stakeholders to align processes with the voice of the customer and ensure projects are integrated with the business strategy, other business activities and improvement projects.
Updates project status and financial benefits in LSS databases for the project and projects of the belts coached.
Develop and Track Lean KPIs for assigned sites.
Deploy and support the Leader Standard Work Program for Front-Line Leaders in assigned sites.
Deploy and support the Connected Workforce Solution including Training Best Practices and Collaboration in assigned sites.
Support the assigned sites in building Value Stream Mapping/Capacity Analysis and Strategic orientations.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Travel up to 50% may be required (some occasions up to 75% depending on deployment or business needs).
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Safety Protocol
Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or relevant field required.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Experience Required:
Minimum five (5) years of experience in leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives and coaching required.
Experience in implementing change management strategies required.
Certification/Licensure Required:
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required.
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, or obtain within 12 months of employment, required.

Intermediate math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, comparative analysis, measurements, statistical analysis).
Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.
Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrate leadership as part of a cross-functional plant management team.
