About the role

JOB TITLE: Operations and Project Support Group Supervisor 1 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Supervises Operations and Project Support employees that support the facilities team. 
  • Perform as main representative between Employer and client.  
  • Ensure compliance with all employer and client policies and procedures. 
  • Provide training programs to new employees. 
  • Tracking, reporting, expediting and issue resolution of financial activities including purchase orders and invoices. 
  • Plans, establishes, and revises Operations and Project Support personnel work assignments. 
  • Identifies areas within the current system for efficiency gains and recommends solutions. 
  • Assists project team members in developing new procedures & processes. 
  • Ensure the Project Team members are provided with adequate training and support to enable them to successfully use the systems in use. 
  • Provide multiple levels of support to Facilities Project Management Organization. 
  • Provide project management services to assigned Facilities Service Requests (FSRs). 
  • Coordinate activities of Junior-level Project Specialists. 
  • Support SRM system development, enhancements, and workflow. 
  • Create and track purchase requisitions/shopping carts as needed in support of organization. 
  • Provide and maintain Operations and Project Support services as needed in support of organization. 
  • Develop presentation materials utilizing MS PowerPoint or other required formats for the purpose of customer or client meetings. 
  • Support FSR project closure activities including project financial closure activities. 
  • Mentor junior-level Project Specialists. 
  • Other duties as requested by management. 

Requirements

  • Five plus years of supervisory experience in a large-scale business 
  • Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds 
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized 
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise others, establish measurable objectives, and evaluate performance 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and establish priorities 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, knowledge of Excel is a must)
