Title: Onsite Warehouse Support Specialist
Location: 700 Ramona Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19120
Compensation: $24/hour
Hours: 8am-4:30pm EDT, Monday-Friday
Role Description:
This is an incredibly important position that helps to monitor and complete inventory related activities of all ShipBob merchants at partner fulfillment centers and works directly with on-site partners to resolve any merchant concerns. At ShipBob, it is imperative to provide a great merchant experience while supporting our fulfillment center partners and developing scalable operations.
What you’ll do:
- Resolve merchant-facing requests around inventory related issues.
- Work directly with on-site partners to resolve merchant concerns.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies reported by Merchant support.
- Perform physical location checks to ensure quality and reconcile inventory variances.
- Play a pivotal role in understanding the root cause of inventory adjustments and participate in efforts to correct.
- Vocalize concerns around inventory practices to ICQA Regional Manager, helping to identify areas of opportunity in day-to-day processes.
- Communicate updates and relay important operational information about clients directly to Manager, Supply Chain ICQA.
- Run cycle counting and inventory control processes according to written SOP’s and in partnership with partner resources.
- Perform audits or other actions requested by merchants within the site.
- Comply to all food safety and compliance policies and regulations.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision on-site.
- Shows the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems quickly.
- Ability to determine inventory discrepancies, perform physical inventory cycle counts, and reconcile inventory variances.
- Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills; displays reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time without stress.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs without any health limitations.
- Able to stand and walk continuously during and up to an 8-10hr shift.
- Able to bend, stoop, reach above, and push/pull frequently.
