Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will support the company’s accounting operations to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy. This position will join a high-performing department in a customer-focused organization.

What you will do:

• Validation of commission inputs to ensure the accuracy of payments following policies and agreements
• Processing and auditing of installation reports
• Conduct training sessions for new contractors
• Respond to inquiries regarding commission calculations
• Analyze compensation to ensure accuracy and provide explanations for clarity
• Assist with month-end responsibilities and reporting
• Preparation of audit and tax documentation as requested
• Validation of new contractor paperwork impacting compensation to ensure completeness
• Develop in-depth understanding of procedures and tasks of assigned functional areas
• Recommend, test and implement modifications to compensation systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Understand key business drivers and provide management with timely, accurate, and relevant information for decision-making
• Responsible for performing special projects on an ad hoc basis
• Crosstrain on additional department tasks to improve overall departmental performance and team coverage
• Additional duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications Include:

• B.S. in Accounting or a similar field required
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience required; 5+ years' experience preferred
• CPA, CGMA, or other advanced accounting qualifications preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
