Outpatient Psychiatry - Physician - MSD Medical Group - Manhattan, NY

The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist in MSD Medical Group in Manhattan! 

Mount Sinai Doctors Medical Group is a multispecialty group comprised of world-class physicians who have extensive experience. Regardless of their specialty, our physicians and staff work together to ensure quality care and speedy recovery for patients with various medical conditions.

The chosen candidate will provide outpatient psychiatry services to patients within a multi-specialty, community based practice in Manhattan. In addition, Physician must have at least 2-3 years of experience and will oversee the clinical practice of 2-3 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. 

• The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai’s Department of Psychiatry is a comprehensive network of mental health, addiction, and psychiatric services located throughout the Mount Sinai Health System. Through dynamic integration of clinical care, cutting-edge science, and education, we deliver expert care for adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients. We provide treatment via an array of specialized programs and services for almost every mental health condition.
   
  Position Qualifications:
  •    Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  •    New York State Medical License
  •    Board Certified in Psychiatry 
•       Must have 2-3 years of experience
  •    Experience preferred, but recent residency graduates will also be considered
  •    Strong teaching and leadership skills
  •    Excellent communication and organizational skills
  •    Must possess highly collaborative and proactive approach, and demonstrate commitment to high-quality, cost-effective health care
  •    A strong work ethic and desire to participate in and grow a team-oriented, performance-driven department
  •    Compensation range from 225K to 260K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
