About the role

Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Infectious Diseases and Global Health, is searching for a full-time Infectious Diseases specialist for a Clinician-Educator position at the Assistant Professor rank.  The appointee will have a mix of outpatient and inpatient clinical responsibilities primarily at our Hyde Park campus and potentially at our Chicagoland area network locations. The appointee will be expected teach and supervise trainees and students as well as engage in scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Infectious Diseases.
