Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee billing of production equipment and asset rentals for NBCU productions and 3rd party customers and ensure accurate and timely invoicing of clients
- Manage a team of billing and purchasing clerks
- Identify opportunities for congruency and efficiency across Studio Services departments in all locations and effectively train the Billing Team on process improvements
- Manage overall billing flow, A/P & A/R research, and labor costs via timekeeping entries
- Manage accounts receivable (Sphere) and accounts payable (SNAP) for Transportation, Set Lighting & Grip (US), Costume, Property/Sign Shop, & UK
- Review and approve departmental billing
- Responsible for month-end financial reporting, vendor setup and management
- Prepare revenue and cost of sales accruals for all locations
- Track partner billing and revenue shares for accruals
- Billing research and resolution for customers, facility representatives, and other departments and divisions
- Maintain and update a billing reference sheet as well as creating production and customer deal codes, troubleshooting deal and Sphere order set up as needed
- Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Partner with internal tax teams to address tax related inquiries for all remote locations
- Research and address labor costs in relation to billing
- Run weekly reports and provide data to internal partners and customers
- Review and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement while proposing and implementing solutions to better align processes with operational workflows
- Create DCS Statements for inter-company deals and draft billing for Facilities & 3rd party rentals in Sphere
- Prepare and present billing reports to senior management

What You Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience in billing or a similarly experienced role
- 2+ years of recent experience in a leadership role
- Proven experience in equipment/asset rental billing or production operations billing
- Proven experience in handling large volumes of work and transactions
- Proven experience with A/P and A/R processing
