About this Role

As the CFO of the Det-Tronics brand, you will impact the success of Det-Tronics and Industrial Fire Products & Solutions by leading the Finance function effectively influencing a matrixed team of experienced professionals. You will report directly to CFO of Industrial Fire, and dotted line to the Managing Director of Det-Tronics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Det-Tronics Finance organization ensuring strong business partnering mindset.
• Drive Working Capital optimization of the business through contributing to business process improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and help guide, communicate, and execute the strategic vision for the company
• Perform economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments. Analyze profit-and-loss income statements and prepare reports on findings to make budgeting and cost decisions as a key member of Det-Tronics leadership team.
• Generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes.
• Create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies.
• Develop strategic and operational goals for financial analysis, research and forecasts to support long-term and strategic business decisions of the organization.
• Direct financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting as well as preparation of action plans and recommendations for business and operational decisions.
• Provide technical subject matter expertise to senior leaders.
• Lead interpretation of complex financial reports and statistical analysis as well as development of recommendations.
• Recommend and implement procedures and processes to expand sales growth and identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead processes to ensure that financial practices are conducted accurately and in compliance with regulations, laws and standards.
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10+ years of Financial Management and Financial Systems experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree and manufacturing and international business experience preferred
• Advanced level skills developing analysis in Excel, PowerBI and/or MS Access.
• Proven success as a Finance Leader within a growth-oriented company, demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency.
• Demonstrates the highest level of integrity, honesty, compassion, and credibility.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Clear and direct communicator, approachable, and an active listener.
