Job Summary:
The Floor Supervisor / Retail Sales Associate will manage the front-end operations of the store and ensure that each customer has the best experience possible in the store.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Delegate tasks to other staff as necessary.

- Greets and interacts with customers.
- Ensures exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving issues.
- Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.

- Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
- Ensures that sales staff are using sales techniques such as upselling, tie-in sales, and suggestive selling.

- Ensures sales areas are kept neat, clean, dusted, and in the correct place.
- Ensures merchandise has proper tags and labeling.
- Retrieves merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, and places special orders.
- Ensures back stock is kept neat and orderly, checked, and stocked daily.
- Maintains end caps and rotates end cap merchandise regularly.
- Processes returns and exchanges.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skill/Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good verbal communication skills and active listening skills
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold
- Ability to anticipate customer’s needs
- Ability to recommend merchandise to customer
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system
- Organized with attention to detail
- Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multi-task
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Previous retail experience (1-3 years)

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
