We are looking for a compassionate and technically proficient Animal Health Clinic Supervisor to inspire and guide a team of dedicated technicians to deliver excellent customer service and exceptional medical services to the animals in our facilities. As the Animal Health Clinic Supervisor, you will organize, plan, assist, and coordinate your team to provide optimal animal health and welfare. This position requires the employee to be in the office or customer-facing for all hours worked.

We Require

  • Three years of experience treating and handling animals in an animal hospital, humane society, or veterinary clinic environment

  • One year of supervisory experience or lead experience in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter setting 

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Completion of 30 semester or 45 quarter units in Animal Health, Animal Science, Zoology, or related animal sciences may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience

  • Completion of a two-year curriculum in an accredited veterinary technology program that is certified by the Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board

Job Contributions

  • Supervise and support Animal Health Technician staff, including recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions to ensure team effectiveness and accountability

  • Lead staff training and development, delivering initial training for new hires, and coordinating ongoing education to ensure staff maintain proficiency as procedures and protocols evolve

  • Demonstrate advanced technical proficiency in all aspects of veterinary support, including surgical prep, anesthesia induction and monitoring, emergency care, euthanasia, vaccination, and epidemiology, while ensuring all technician tasks are completed to standard

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, organizing workflow to maintain surgical efficiency and ensuring proper sanitation and adherence to safety protocols aligned
