Position Summary: 

The Marketing Director – Business Solutions leads the marketing strategy, brand positioning, and go-to-market execution across AVDG, GC Pro, and Custom House. This role is accountable for building a consistent, high-performing marketing engine that enables sales, strengthens brand equity, and supports revenue growth and profitability (including EBITDA targets). The Director ensures each business line is clearly differentiated in the market, supported with best-in-class sales enablement tools, and amplified through digital, content, event, and partnership initiatives that measurably impact pipeline and win rate.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Own and evolve the marketing strategy for Business Solutions across AVDG, GC Pro, and Custom House, aligned to annual revenue, margin, and EBITDA objectives.
  • Define and maintain brand architecture and messaging frameworks to ensure each business line is clearly positioned and complementary.
  • Establish standards for brand voice, creative quality, approvals, and usage across internal teams and external partners.

Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement

  • Build and manage the sales enablement ecosystem: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, vertical playbooks, solution briefs, proposal templates, and customer proof assets.
  • Partner with sales leadership to improve pipeline creation and conversion by delivering tools that support prospecting, differentiation, and closing.
  • Develop and operationalize a repeatable “project story” process (intake → approval → production → distribution) across all business lines.

Digital, Web, Content & Social

  • Own website strategy, messaging, and performance for all business lines (or brand sections), including SEO, lead capture, UX priorities, and content roadmaps.
  • Lead content planning and production across channels (social, email, web, video, PR) with consistent quality and brand alignment.
  • Support executive visibility and thought leadership content as needed.

Campaigns, Events, Partnerships

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns tied to strategic priorities, vertical growth, and key accounts.
  • Lead trade show and event execution: booth strategy, collateral, signage, apparel, production, logistics, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage co-marketing initiatives with partners and ensure measurable outcomes.

Vendor, Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage external agencies and vendors (creative, production, print, promotional, digital) with clear scopes, timelines, and cost controls.
  • Own marketing budgets and resource allocation across business lines; prioritize spend toward measurable impact.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting that connect marketing activity to outcomes (pipeline influence, conversion, win rate, brand lift where applicable).

 

Qualifications

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Marketing, Communications, Business preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8–12 years of relevant marketing experience with increasing responsibility; leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B marketing, brand strategy, sales enablement, and campaign execution; experience in AV, pro audio, integration, technology, or services preferred.
  • Strong project management capability with the ability to prioritize across multiple brands and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and relationship skills; executive-level communication ability.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; capable of reporting marketing impact and performance.
  • Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
  • Ability to acquire work/travel documents (passport/visa) as required.
