Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Bravo Communications Services LLC is leading the Identity Credential Access Management Next Gen Single Sign On (ICAM NG SSO) program for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This program aims to modernize the VA's Single Sign-On (SSO) technology to enhance security, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer who thrives at the intersection of automation, security, and identity. You’ll lead efforts to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support the engineering team with operational assistance.

Responsibilities

• Implement secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated application
• Embed security scanning tools (Snyk, Checkov, Trivy) into build and deployment flows
• Collaborate with product and security teams to align strategy with DevOps velocity
• Monitor and respond to IAM-related security events, misconfigurations, and anomalies
• Act as a mentor and help lead the team to sucess

Required Experience/Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Security, or Engineering roles
• Deep experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and cloud-native security
• Strong understanding of identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM) and federation models
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with secrets management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
