Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Applies 17025 compliance standards in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate 
  • Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
  • Awareness of Tobacco Product Manufacturing Practices (TPMP)
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Ability to learn new techniques and technologies, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow procedures, and comply with company policies
  • Proactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivity
  • Keeps accurate records, follows instructions, and complies with company policies 
  • Proactively checks and stays current with all training across multiple learning platforms 
  • Pays attention to details and remains very organized at all times 
  • Exhibits a high-level of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Remains flexible and shift priorities quickly 
  • Prepares, reviews, interprets, and ensures compliance of shipping documentation, primarily for incoming shipments, but may include outgoing shipments
  • Cooperates with customs and interacts with logistic experts in order to improve the shipping process
  • Arrange pick-ups and cooperate with external shipping partners
  • May delivers materials to customers on site
  • Communicate with internal clients regarding lead times and pick-up/delivery dates.
  • Compiles and archives all relevant documentation
  • Maintains metrics (KPIs) to show shipping on-time-in-full (OTIF) and customer service level (CSL) for various product platforms
  • Author and/or review technical documents and participate in daily meetings as required.
  • Handle shipping discrepancies/exceptions/deviations in an appropriate and timely manner, contributing or leading in root cause investigations and helping to define and execute corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
  • Communicate with the Tax department, Customs, and Internal Customers as needed
  • Assist with writing, reviewing, and updating new SOPs and WIs
  • Assists in training of laboratory personnel  
  • Assist with Quality and Regulatory Audits and interact directly with auditors

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in science or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major) 
  • 2-4 years related experience

Additional Information

  • Position is full-time,  Monday- Friday 8:00AM -5:00PM
  • May be requested to work overtime as needed
