Come join the DAS-CHRO Classification & Compensation team in a new support role! The Data Analyst will create, implement, and update workflow tracking tools and reporting dashboards for the DAS CHRO.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop logic-based automations between tracking systems to improve processing and cycle times.
Collaborate with DAS divisions to design and refine workflow tracking tools.
Lead reporting on assigned business areas for KPIs, ad hoc reports, and dashboard updates.
Maintain regular reporting schedules and respond to data requests.
Conduct research and analysis on classification, compensation, bargaining, market trends, and policy changes.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
Desired Attributes:
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, R, Tableau, relational databases, excel etc.
Skilled in interpreting data and identifying trends to support decision-making, ensuring accuracy in data, reports, and system maintenance.
Demonstrated experience supporting a work group or team.
Knowledge of Workday, the state’s Human Resource Information System, navigating automated business processes and troubleshooting issues within the system is desirable.
Ability to manage a heavy workload with multiple tasks, frequent interruptions, and competing deadlines.
