Housekeeper

We are hiring a Part Time Housekeeper at Dogfish Inn.

What You'll Brew:

• Organizes cleaning room and closet area and helps to maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room 
• Picks up trash, sorts trash and recycling, and keeps a clean and organized work space 
• Stocks minibar, glassware, paper products and all other elements to finalize a room for renting 
• Engages and interacts with guests to help deliver exceptional Dogfish experience 
• Responsible for daily cleaning of all rented rooms 
• Maintains a clean lobby, office, corridors, and grounds 
• Maintains and keeps inventory of required cleaning supplies, linens, and tools 
• Strips rooms, make beds, mops, sweeps, vacuums, and performs all other general cleaning activities 
• Maintains all outdoor spaces, keeping walkways clear of sand, dirt and trash 
• Cleans cottage in its entirety: maintains the cleanliness of the cottage bathroom, staircase, corridors, and offices
• Creates, modifies and executes any cleaning SOPs for quick turns, stay overs, and seasonal deep cleans 
• Performs light buildings and ground work: changes lightbulbs, fixes blinds, tightens screws, etc. 
• Works safely with a variety of chemicals 
• Trains new coworkers and helps manage and oversee contracted cleaners

What Ingredient's You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School or GED
• 5+ years of housekeeping experience for rental or hotel properties
• Basic computer skills
• Self-starter, motivated, and proactive
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with/as a team

Level: 10

In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $18 per hour.
