The main goal of the E&amp;PS team is to ensure that the building and building systems are available 24/7 in a safe and compliant manner for the occupants and their activities. We also support soft services (catering, cleaning, ground maintenance) to provide an optimal user experience for our employees and partners on site.<br/> </p><p>To join, assist, lead the team, the EP&amp;S FM team in Leiden is recruiting a <b>senior facilities manager</b> to support the IM-footprint (Leiden, Sassenheim, Schiphol).</p><p><br/>The position will be <b>based at the J&amp;J IM Biologics site in Leiden </b>(Netherlands), reporting into the DIRECTOR FM SUB REGIONAL LEAD EMEA. Close collaboration with several related departments and partners is indispensable for the functioning of the E&amp;PS FM team. Amongst many others there are the E&amp;PS teams based in The Netherlands (Project Delivery, Real Estate), the Asset Management team, Quality, Production etc.</p><p><br/> </p><p><b>Further responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Mentor / lead a team of supervisors, engineers, planners, specialists, technicians and contractors who act all together as a team responsible for ensuring the 24/7 continuous operational readiness of our sites.  You manage a small number of J&amp;J employees and work with IFM partners (Integral FM) to run the business.</li><li>Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and our partners. You will be a team member of the IM Biologics Leadership Team and will represent E&amp;PS on various forums on the site.</li><li>Final responsibility for the exploitation of facilities, utilities and energy systems linked to our footprint at Leiden (IM Biologics).</li><li>Together with the supervisors of the team, act as the points of contact towards building users, quality, EHS², compliance and the entire E&amp;PS organization.</li><li>System owner during <span>start-up/construction</span> phase of new projects and installation and liaison between business units and contractors during planning / construction as needed.</li><li>Ensure compliance with global Health Authority regulations / guidelines and internal operating procedures processes. Where required participate in Health Authority inspections and internal audits or ensure the team and the team’s activities are audit ready.</li><li>Participate in the implementation and maintenance of business continuity plans, emergency response plans and infrastructure management programs.</li><li>Be responsible for the long-range financial plan and annual site and maintenance budgets.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local, federal and relevant international regulations (e.g. FDA, FAGG).</li><li>Establish a culture focused on professionalism and continuous improvement based on KPI’s, benchmarking and sharing best practices between sites and departments.</li><li>You are responsible for the employees who work within the team.
