We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, IT – Supply Chain Planning Capabilities to join our team!  As a Senior Manager of IT within this team, you will be working on some of our top initiatives, leading the delivery of Supply Chain Control Tower solutions and owning platforms that deliver value to our business partners. This is a role for owners, those who are looking to make a clear impact and deliver value for Kraft Heinz. This role is within a Global team in a matrixed IT organization.  The role will follow standard processes to scope, plan, and deliver solutions to support Kraft Heinz Company’s business needs and our strategic roadmap for prioritized initiatives for Supply Chain Planning. This role will partner with cross-functional stakeholders and IT functional and technical teams. This is an exciting time to join Kraft Heinz, and we are seeking a candidate with a bias for action, agility, and a continuous improvement mindset.  This role reports to the Associate Director – Supply Chain Planning Capabilities. 

 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Being the IT technical lead within a cross-functional POD, focused on developing Control Tower capabilities for KHC 

  • Build collaborative relationships with key Supply Chain stakeholders, driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing implementation milestones, and gaining buy-in from functional leadership teams 

  • Gain a deep technical understanding of IT Supply Chain Planning Capabilities products and platforms and drive the technical direction of these products and platforms on behalf of the team 

  • Gain a deep understanding of the business processes and data leveraged within the IT Supply Chain Planning Capabilities products and platforms 

  • Decompose large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, documenting technical requirements/functional specifications, and then driving the delivery in a successful and timely manner. Included within this is:  

  • The definition and documentation of the conceptional solution, participating in the architecture design review and working to achieve sign-off with technical and financial stakeholders 

  • Drive program schedules from design to launch, communicating with stakeholders and senior leaders 

  • Work with user communities to drive adoption and ensure value realization of the project and programs implemented 

  • Partner with business and technical delivery teams to develop, maintain, and execute against a capability roadmap across IT Supply Chain Planning Capabilities products and platforms 

  • Thrive and succeed in an innovative environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities 

  • Oversee the operations management of strategic platforms, working with support partners to define KPIs, and report out on performance 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • IT Program and Portfolio and Project Management skills: 

  • Experience with Applied formal Solution Delivery Methodology 

  • Standard IT Artifacts and Deliverables by Team/Role and by Project cycle/Phase 

  • Requirements and use case definition/mapping and traceability 

  • Understanding of common functional and technical deliverables across a matrix IT organization 

  • Task and Deliverable-based WBS/project plan development, execution 

  • Agile and Waterfall processes (SAFe PO/PM Certification preferred) 

  • Scope, Cost, Resource and Schedule Management 

  • Project Metrics and Reporting 

  • Solid blend of business and technical capabilities, business operating models and underlying technical architectures 

  • Superior relationship management skills (both internally as well as externally) 

  • Experience working with IT Procurement and developing SOWs

  • Experienced with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) 

  • Operational thinker who is constantly seeking to learn new things and drive continuous improvements

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning processes 

  • Product Development experience 

  • Team Leadership experience 

  • Knowledge of building Data and Analytics Solutions 

  • Use of JIRA for managing Product Development/PODs
