About Us:  United Christian Academy is a fully accredited K – 12 private Christian School that is dedicated to educating students by integrating academic excellence with a Christian worldview, equipping them to impact their world for Christ.  It is our goal to provide a holistic education that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit of our students.  We believe in fostering excellence spiritually, academically and athletically, instilling values of integrity in all aspects of our programs.

General Description:  To direct the school’s marketing and development efforts.  UCA recognizes our mission as integral part of the 5-fold ministry given to the church in Ephesians 4:11-13. As such, UCA employees serve as ministers to help advance the mission and vision of United Christian Academy.

Reports to:   Superintendent

Qualifications:

• Must be a born-again Christian.
• Must be a credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Bible.
• Must be able to support and comply with the school’s Statement of Faith and Statement of Conduct.
• Must be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church.
• Must have sufficient health and physical endurance to be able to complete the assigned responsibilities.
• Must have proficiency Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and FACTS
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills, with proper command of the English language.
• Able to work well independently, manage time well, and handle multiple tasks.
• TB clearance within last four years
• First Aid/CPR Clearance
• Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance
• Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986: An Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) will be required along with the supporting documents listed on the I-9 form.

Advancement Responsibilities:

1. Build awareness and support from all constituent bodies

• Current students and families
• Alumni students and families
• Donors
• City leaders
• Business community
• Other local religious and/or nonprofit organizations

1. Develop and engage in programs and opportunities to further enhance the school’s development and public relations efforts.
2. Build strategic partnerships to enhance school profile in the community:

• Attend local Chamber of Commerce networking events
• Sponsor and present UCA at local Chamber events
• Maintain positive relationships with influential community members and local business owners

1. Develop annual school vision and theme.
   • • • Integrate theme into annual school events (i.e. Opening Prayer Ceremony)
2. Collaborate with IMPACT parent group to coordinate successful fundraising efforts.
