The position is responsible for ensuring that financial systems, including Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Planning are functioning and accurate. This role requires high proficiency in all aspects of master data management and, as well as in-depth experience with BI dashboard and reporting.

It is further expected that this role will identify opportunities and launch initiatives to increase the return on investment on the Business Planning/BI Systems. This includes enhancements to the existing systems and managing requirements for additional evolution of these systems.

This role requires to work closely with the head of Business Planning and Performance Management department, IT, the CFO and other departments in order to prepare data, provide routine reporting and analysis that help the leadership solve business problems and drive better decisions.

The Data Manager, develops data-oriented systems to meet the organization needs. His duties include developing systems, procedures and policies for data management in the organization, assisting colleagues in performing data-related tasks, and networking with clients.

Area of accountability  no.1: Make sure that BI tools supporting business performance monitoring are accurate and reliable

Main activities:

• Manage the maintenance of IBA applications, including, but not limited to the following: business rules, metadata, security and automation. Make sure all relevant fields in IBA are complete, consistent and accurate on monthly basis
• Validate data transfers from and to IBA (ERP, Colibri,…)
• Maintain documentation and procedures of the monthly and planning processes related to data load and validation to and from IBA and Colibri systems
• Provide technical support and ongoing development of IBA and Colibri ensuring that the applications structures and the financial processes that they support meet the requirements.
• In collaboration with IT team, take in charge the full process of manual data integration (budget, estimate, third party data,…) in the IBA DW and initiate the cubes on demand processing
• Provide training and support to users when needed
• Make sure all tools including CRM and Financial BI tools are consistent and communicating reliable information

Area of accountability  no.2:  Power BI Software

Main activities:

• In collaboration with IT team maintain existing reports and help developing new dashboard based on business requirements
• Capture requirements from different department and ensure that developed reports meet demands
• Perform administrative and support activities including
• Define a standard for the dashboard development and make sure all reports and requirement comply with this standard
• Maintain User Security and Implementation. 
• Provide organizational training and support.

• Expected results: Ensure that Power BI software provides timely dashboard reporting and supports business user data analysis and reporting

 Area of accountability  no.3:  Provide support during the Financial Planning Cycles (Estimate and budget):

Main activities:

• Ensure that the current systems (IBA and Colibri) supports the planning cycles and process, including the 3 year plan, annual budgets, and quarterly estimates.
• Ensure integration and validation of planning data are completed accurately and in timely manner
• Develop forms and reports to facilitate the development and analysis of financial plans by the business and finance teams
• Help the senior financial analysts prepare data and presentations for business reviews within the planning process
