TITLE: OTA Operations Leader
DUTIES: Preparing the execution and the support of OTA operation on vehicles for plants, aftersales and customers, creating and maintaining project timelines; reporting status of project to global team; enabling environment for OTA testing in all platforms; leading/ supporting technical discussions; updating future OTA schedules; calculating, creating and maintaining development, fleet and production campaign reports; preparing documentation and deliverables necessary to operate OTA updates; Be the “voice of operations” in the projects; participating to recurrent FOTA meetings making decisions with all the departments involved in new campaigns as a key actor; establishing and managing Over the Air (OTA) updates; monitoring OTA updates and take operation actions to reduce failures and improve update success rate; reporting update success rate, campaign performance and outliers; managing OTA update costs; enabling
resolution of issues, defects and closure of tasks in Stellantis systems (JIRA, EE Portal, Polarian, etc…); tracking and managing related field issues; tracking, troubleshooting and managing related defects; applying quality and documented process as make necessary proposal and changes to enhance existing processes for better efficiency; Identifying opportunities for quality and productivity improvement and implement appropriate initiatives, demonstrate leadership in not just finishing the tasks but removing technical impediments for the team members; communicating technical project status to management and key stakeholders; working with other departments and existing teams to develop project and technical controls and standards that will enhance the effectiveness of the organization’s project execution processes (phase gate process); ensuring documented traceability from requirements through test cases and through launch; managing issue triage, documentation, prioritization, root cause analysis and resolution working closely with business and development teams; documenting and communicating lessons learned to global team. driving continuous improvements through change management of Connected Vehicle applications and services. Position requires occasional travel.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study and 2 years of experience in job offered, related Systems Operations or related. Experience must include: Experience with OTA Operations and connected vehicle technology; tracking large volume Campaign success rate/ Campaign Failure monitoring; working with car industry software configuration management; experience coordinating OTA updates across plant, aftersales and customers which involves vehicle ECU's, telematics and cloud infrastructure; experience tracking defects, troubleshooting issues(using tracking tools JIRA, DriveIT and GIMs) and applying quality process to fix OTA failure points(onboard and offboard) to increase OTA efficiency; experience working with teams to systematically classify and aggregate issue patterns, ensuring scalable resolution deployment across high volume vehicle population.
