Senior Fullstack Developer

<h3>About your team</h3> <ul> <li>Our team’s goal is to improve customer satisfaction in <a href="https://www.livechat.com/">LiveChat </a>and <a href="https://openwidget.com/">OpenWidget</a>. We want to ensure that communication is precise, directed to the right people, and relevant to their needs. We are also interested in experimenting with new ideas and collaborating with external developers to monetize them. We have developed libraries that can integrate with external windows to create custom chat windows. </li><li>We are constantly improving OpenWidget, which provides a range of functionalities like contact forms, FAQs, and product card recommendations based on <a href="https://openai.com/">OpenAI</a> services, using vector and embedding technology.</li><li>You’ll work hand in hand with <a href="https://twitter.com/walaszczyk_m">Maciek </a>- Tech Lead of our team - and<a href="https://twitter.com/konradkpl"> Konrad</a> - Head of OpenWidget;</li><li>In OpenWidget we’re exploiting Fastify and <a href="http://next.js/">Next.js</a>. We also use Netlify, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kuberntes, Google Cloud, npm (for internal packages) and GitHub. </li><li>Our team is currently experimenting with the <a href="https://basecamp.com/shapeup">Shape-Up </a>methodology to ensure that we efficiently deliver high-quality results as a team.</li></ul> <h3>About your role:</h3> <ul> <li>You will be working on both the Frontend and Backend, and you will be an integral part of our product team. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in TypeScript who can develop robust, well-tested code. </li><li>You will be responsible for ensuring that our Widget, Management App and API are properly integrated and function correctly. You’ll have the freedom to identify and solve complex problems and experiment with new technologies.</li></ul> <h3>Our ideal candidate has:</h3> <ul> <li>Strong background in TypeScript, with experience in <a href="http://node.js/">Node.js</a> (Fastify) and <a href="http://next.js/">Next.js</a> with React.</li><li>Transparent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.</li><li>Interest in security, authentication (familiarity with OAuth standard is highly appreciated), software engineering, and internal services. </li><li>A track record of writing well-tested and high-quality code.</li><li>The ability to work independently and make bold technical decisions to sustain tight product cycles.</li><li>Drive to mentorship and knowledge-sharing within a team. </li></ul>
