About the role

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support CBP with a range of technical, financial, and program management support to achieve mature management of CBP Enterprise Network Architecture Services. This position will be located in the Northern VA/D.C. Metro area.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of successful delivery of the task order requirements and ensuring a high-quality customer experience for CBP.
  • Serve as the Contractor’s Point of Contact (POC) for the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
  • Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues
  • Directs the performance of a variety of related projects, which may be organized by technology, program, or client
  • Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete tasks
  • Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance
  • Responsible for meeting project schedule timelines and performance objectives; conducting requirements reviews and information analysis, as well as producing cost-benefit analysis
  • Coordinates the work efforts of multiple projects surrounding a common program objective to ensure timely problem resolution and total customer satisfaction
  • Ensures compliance with client specific project management lifecycle processes, including managing project governance, engineering technical reviews, and project artifacts.

 

**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Networking and Telecommunications), or five (5) years of experience in a technical field with a bachelor’s degree in another field, or (8) years of experience without a bachelor’s degree
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Current CBP Full Background Investigation (BI) preferred or have the ability to complete CBP Full Background Investigation (BI) as required by contract
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of management experience in organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions and multiple complex and inter-related projects for a large, complex Federal agency.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in networking and information technology as well as Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Required Certifications :
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • ITIL v3 Foundation (ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous DHS/CBP experience
  • Certifications:
    • Scrum Master (CSM)
    • SAFe Agile Certification
    • One or more Cloud Certifications: (AWS, Google, Microsoft, etc.)

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
