Job Title: FOUNDRY GRILL FOOD EXPEDITOR/ RUNNER

Department: F&B

Reports To: Foundry Grill Manager & Supervisors

Rate of Pay: $13.00/Hour + tips

Shift: Variable AM/PM shifts Monday through Sunday

Full or Part time, Year Round and Seasonal positions

Must be available Saturdays, Sundays & some Holidays


SUMMARY

Create an exceptional dining experience for the guests by delivering quality food at the correct temperature to the appropriate guest.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Warmly greet each guest.

Call out and organize tickets for the kitchen.

Act as liaison between the service staff and the kitchen.

Ensure ticket time standard is met by effectively managing courses.

Communicate any food issues with the Chef.

Know the restaurant set up and seat numbers in order to accurately deliver food.

Assist the servers and bussers as needed.

Stage appropriate utensils, condiments, etc. for each dish (i.e. napkins, steak knives, ketchup, and honey mustard).

Ensure food is the correct temperature, at the correct table, and on time.

Serve food following standards, proper service sequence and a professional demeanor.

Assist in any other aspects of the restaurant as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and stock of Expo area.

Complete side work and cleaning lists as directed.

Minimize waste.

Support recycling programs.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position, for example: minimize waste, recycle, conserve energy, purchase and use sustainable products, educate co-workers/guests on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar environmental ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wild life habitats, and carpool with co-workers to minimize carbon emissions. All employees are invited to participate in environmental or Sundance Preserve sponsored events.


DRESS CODE

Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest's impression of the resort and the perception of our ability to provide professional service to our clientele. In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest's expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:


All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.

All employees are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.

Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays)

Blue jeans are permitted.

Men's shirts must be tucked in.

Appropriate skirt length is from the knee to the ankle.

A tailored fit is required of all clothing.

Tank tops, halter tops tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.

Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.

Bare midriffs are prohibited.

Proper footwear for your department is required.

No skate shoes or tennis shoes are allowed

All employees are required to wear dark blue jeans, brown leather shoes, brown belt, dark brown apron and the specified shirt.
