Barnes Aerospace has an exciting and challenging career opportunity for an experienced P&L Leader to lead its West Chester OEM & MRO facility. We’re seeking a strong General Manager to play an integral role in directing and executing the business goals and objectives for achieving profitable, sustainable growth for both divisions. Core Responsibilities:
- The General Manager will have full P&L responsibility for the West Chester OEM and MRO site providing leadership and direction to both organizations in achieving their performance and financial objectives as defined and aligned on through the Company’s annual profit planning process.
- Ensure the effective execution of the profitable growth strategy culminating in increasing organic revenue growth through developing new customers and expanding product offerings, while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction, performance excellence and achieving increased profitability and margin expansion. Achieves profitable top-line revenue and market share growth through the effective management and execution of MRO, services, solutions, and increased process capabilities.
- Completely owns the numbers from driving the development of and participate in reviewing and approving short- and long-term sales plans, other operating objectives, and profit plans.
- Operates as a strong team leader and team builder focused on generating results through collaboration, influence and relationship building as much as direct line authority. Builds a passionate and driven management team that possesses unmatched intensity balanced with passion & professionalism who desires, understands, and motivates other on “how to win”.

- Leads and manages the areas of accountability to achieve short-term and long-term business success and required financial performance, successfully defining, and implementing countermeasure to address headwinds and challenges – planned or unforeseen to deliver on commitments. Plans and directs the overall activities that meets or exceeds established performance metrics including safety and environmental stewardship in alignment with the company vision and growth strategy to drive Top Line, Bottom Line and Pipeline results.
- In alignment with the company values, effectively works with peers to enhance the performance of the overall Barnes Aerospace business. Understands and embraces “Enterprise Leadership” as it relates to executing plans for the specific site/division while supporting the achievement of the overall short and long-term goals of Barnes Aerospace.
- Seeks to expand product offerings with existing customers, help develop new customers and expand the division’s presence as a strategic supplier.
- Achieves productivity and efficiency improvements through continuous improvement activities and Lean Manufacturing principles. Ensures the effective management of operating methods, budget spending, manpower/resource utilization and labor efficiency, and material scheduling and capacity planning.
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of P&L experience in a manufacturing environment in aerospace. Prior commercial and sales management experience necessary.
- At least 7 years of experience of effectively leading and managing people. A proven track record of implementing and successfully executing strategies to build and sustain a high-performance work environment. Solid track record
