About the role
Delta Solutions is seeking a Joint Planning SME to support the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) in the J35 Directorate at Peterson AFB, CO. This position supports the USSPACECOM J351, Contingency Operations Branch. The Contingency Operations Branch is located on Schriever AFB and is comprised of three (3) Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) that are adversary focused.
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $95,000-$115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. What you will be doing:
- Executing adversary-based planning within a 60 day to 2 years horizon
- Synchronizing and integrating with Theater Campaign and Contingency plans
- Supporting and executing Operational Planning Teams (OPTs)
- Producing and/or reviewing concepts of operations (CONOPS), orders, and other instructions
- Supporting the planning and execution of Joint Staff and USSPACECOM exercises and war-games
What you will need:
- Five or more years of experience with space mission planning, preferably in a joint environment
- Two years of experience at the CCMD or Component level
- Experience as a member of an Ops Planning Team or Joint Planning Group
- Subject matter expertise in one or more Space Operations mission areas (SDA, SATCOM, PNT, ISR, EMI)
- An active TS/SCI Clearance; SAP/SAR program experience; Willingness to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph
