Job Description

Reporting to the Senior IT Manager - Global Network, the Infrastructure Program Manager will manage the coordination, implementation, finances and communication of global network infrastructure projects supporting Rockwell Automation's infrastructure core services operations. This agile-centric role involves coordinating with teams, vendors, and partners to ensure the successful deployment and ongoing optimization of the network.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members and architects to understand requirements and translate them into network infrastructure solutions
  • Manage and execute large-scale Enterprise complex infrastructure projects
  • Work with technical staff to develop solutions to new or changing business objectives
  • Develop comprehensive and repeatable project delivery plans for global network deployment projects which meet strategic objectives
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure delivery of milestones and objectives
  • Manage project budget, forecast, resources, and timelines
  • Lead communication with internal customers, business unit leaders, IT technical staff, business and Results Delivery Office staff
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of network hardware and software components.
  • Ensure seamless deployment of network solutions across multiple locations worldwide.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies during deployment.
  • Collaborate with vendors to procure necessary network equipment and services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.  We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Typically requires at least 8 years of experience in Information Technology with specific focus on infrastructure projects utilizing Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5
  • Have 5 years of deep understanding and hands-on experience in network design, installation, management, techniques and principles
  • Track record and have experience running enterprise scale projects on-time and on-budget
  • Familiarity with legacy and modern IT Infrastructure architectures & related technologies and network/web related protocols.
  • Experience with cloud, server, storage and backup services
  • Sound technical knowledge in ITIL, IT operations, project methodology and tools
  • Certification in ITIL and Project Management
  • Background in regulated global companies (financial institutions, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or similar
  • This role can be remote anywhere in the U.S.
  • This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor.
  • The Base salary compensation range for this role is 135,040.00 - 202,560.00 USD Annual, with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary. Out company benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education and experience.
