About the team:

The preferred location for this position is in or around Robinhood's offices in Lake Mary, FL, Westlake, TX, or Chicago, IL, with in-office work capabilities, as may be required by management, but remote work in limited geographies within the U.S. may be considered. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to the customer experience and the continued growth of Robinhood. It is also a great career growth and learning opportunity with the responsibilities spanning multiple functions of middle office, customer communications and trading operations. Additionally you would interact with other areas such as Securities Lending, P&S, Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, Customer Experience, Engineering, and with external Market Centers (Venues). You would manage risk, ensure deadlines and service levels are met, and for compliance with Firm policy, SEC rules, and FINRA regulations. You should thrive in a fast paced environment where critical thinking and sound judgment are essential.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

• Execution of Written Supervisory Procedures to comply with all SEC and FINRA rules
• Order entry and trade execution of equity and stock option orders
• Resolution of trade inquiries
• Monitor trading activity, firm accounts, corporate actions, and identify and resolve problems associated with trades
• Monitor health of routing systems and Venues, and interact with Venues as required
• Support our Customer Experience team by conducting trade related research and margin support.
• Coordinate response for system, trading, and communications (SEV) related issues.
• Work with cross functional business partners to send daily and ad-hoc proactive customer communications, including emails, inbox messages, and push notifications, pertaining to multiple lines of business for the Broker Dealer.
• Respond to anomalous situations and determine how to correspond with our customer-base with a communications plan that you can drive to execution; proactively identify ways to reduce risk
• Partner & cross train with the Communications with Public Compliance and Legal team on laws, regulations and issues impacting customer communications

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years working in a broker-dealer operations/trading environment
• FINRA Series 7
• FINRA 57 licenses
• Strong understanding of brokerage operation functions
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt to a changing environment
• Ability to work overnight shift from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM

Bonus points:

• Series 4 and/or 24
• Potential opportunity to obtain or hold Series 3 in the future

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. You can view comp zones for our US office locations in the table below. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
