The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Hutchinson Site Director, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Ensure operational Environmental, Health and Safety compliance and accountability
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance to all applicable standards (cGMP, ISO-13485, etc.)
• Drive continuous improvement in the quality plan using appropriate methodologies, including but not limited to:  Lean Six Sigma, PPU, CQI, etc.
• Drive customer focus through prompt complaint resolution and corrective and preventative actions
• Ensure appropriate supply chain performance (through the eyes of the customer) through responsiveness, delivery performance, capacity management, supplier management and appropriate inventory management including working and non-working inventory management
• Drive sustainable improvements in factory cost through application of LSS, entitlement thinking, yield improvement and plant productivity considering all global extended value streams
• Partner with the global business teams to insure strong alignment of plant goals, metrics and targets with the business/division targets
• Support preparation activities for BT Go Live as appropriate

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university
• Three (3) years of supervisory and/or management experience in a private, public, government or military environment  
• Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Certified LSS BB or MBB
• Experience in Operations Management
• Expert knowledge and experience in production management, lean manufacturing and materials control
• Strong Communication and Change Management skills
• Experience in Lean manufacturing methodologies in driving value stream improvement.
• Prior Plant Manager Experience

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
