- Steward of the brand that defines and executes the brand’s strategy. Articulates the brand’s promise, vision, positioning and brand architecture in collaboration with the product management team ensuring that the brand remains relevant to consumers/end-users and that all initiatives contribute to profitable growth, category share gains and stronger brand equity.
- Lead development of strategic brand plans:
- Plan, develop, and direct the marketing efforts of the brand and ensure that all communications deliver a consistent brand message.
- Lead contract negotiation and direction of creative, PR and media agencies. Develop and deliver creative briefs.
- Establish, enforce, and execute a brand communications hierarchy and a global style guide.
- Lead the development of advertising, PR, POP and brand collateral materials.
- Budget Management
- Manage creative, PR and media budgets.
- Lead planning and execution efforts for key and/or unique initiatives that require project management of both internal (in marketing as well as outside marketing) and external resources (agencies)
- Direct the efforts of Brand Managers and work with Product Team as it relates to new product support.
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
Preferred:
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 6‐10 years prior experience in Brand Marketing, Brand Communications or Product Marketing with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results.
- Previous supervisory or coaching experience is required
- 3+ years of experience with P&L and/or budgeting is required
Preferred:
- 3+ years preferred previous Brand Strategy experience
