Position Summary:
This full time position will provide lead, coordinate, supervise the delivery of clinical services by a multidisciplinary team and ensure continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a member of a dedicated, caring team in the delivery of substance use disorder and/or mental health services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field, equivalent experience and training. Master Degree in licensable degree program strongly preferred.
- Previous working experience in behavioral health program required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Minimum tCADC within 90 days of hire or transfer, or achieve licensure as a LBSW, LMSW, tLMHC, or other state or national licensure that supersedes the tCADC.
- Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed.
- Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
- Ensure that the client service records are maintained consistent with required rules and regulations.
- Become competent in EHR and function as a trainer.
- Supervise assigned staff, including orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required.
- Maintain communications with all staff (e.g. admissions, and discharge plans).
- Assume on-call responsibilities per schedule or when designated.
- Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, and staff and community groups.
- Identify mental health and substance abuse issues and differentiate between mental illness and substance abuse.
- Provide case management and group coverage when needed.
- Act as point person when assigned
- Facilitate team meetings and case reviews.
- Provide guidance and clinical supervision to the assigned team in conjunction with ongoing supervision provided by the Director
- Represent the department in PI committees and organizational initiatives as determined appropriate by Director
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and ability to identify adverse effects of medications.
- Become familiar with all related state and county contracts, and complete monthly reports as required.
- Serve as a member of the department and participate in all team meetings and activities.
- Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
- Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Compensation & Rewards:
- Starting Pay: Based on education, experience and credentials
- Starting rate for Bachelors - $49,712 yr
- Starting rate for Masters - $56,326.40 yr
- Incentives:
- Certification- tCADC/CADC/IADC- $1,500 annually
- Clinical License- LBSW, LMSW, LISW, tLMHC, LMHC, LMFT, $1,800-$5,000 annually
Schedule: 8 hour shifts
Monday-Friday, 1st Shift with some evenings possible
Work Location: Rosecrance Jackson Centers– Creston, Iowa
