We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Associate to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the production process to ensure quality and efficiency. You will operate machinery, assemble products, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively with your team to meet production goals.
Production & Equipment Operation:
- Operate production equipment and machinery efficiently and safely.
- Assist in assembling and packaging cannabis products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, including product counts, defects, and processing details.
- Inspect cannabis products for consistency and quality, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following established protocols.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Monitor production operations and report malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality concerns.
- Assist with routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any necessary repairs.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring materials are stocked and available for production.
- Support proper labeling and storage of cannabis products in accordance with industry regulations.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Experience in cannabis production or related horticultural fields.
- Familiarity with cannabis regulations and compliance in the production process.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing or agricultural setting.
Working Conditions:
- Hours: Flexible hours with potential for shifts including evenings, weekends, or overtime depending on production schedul
