Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Fully competent professional, who possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of material master, performs daily MD tasks and generates ad-hoc data extracts. Requires the readiness and capability of the completion of difficult assignments. Provides day to day supervision of a smaller group of MD Associates for a specific, specialist segment of activity.

 

 

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

 

• Executes and processes various types of MD requests, complying with SOX and audit requirements
• Contributes, performs and if needed assists project activities
• Ensures quality of master data in SAP, support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
• Provides help in maintaining the departmental policies, training documents and performance metrics
• Provides training to other team members in the organization
• Performs routine reporting (KPIs, other MD related reports) and mass changes on MD objects
• If needed manages independently sub-projects and small work task within relevant MD area
• Expert in Master Data quality and business rules
• Understands and able to address/cleanse SAP Master Data duplications
• Executes small work items within relevant MD area with limited support
• Helps in coordinating Master Data junior resources
• Supports processes, changes as tester
• Assists in yearly and ad hoc audit requests

 

Qualifications

What YOU will bring to the team:

 

• 2-3 years of MD or relevant experience
• Experienced in SAP Master Data transactional processes (2-3 years) or as SAP Key-user (min 2 years)
• PTP, OTC or Supply Chain relevant work experience
• Ability to work under supervision, be a self-starter, and able to work in a team environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Customer centric, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proactive, positive (can do and will do attitude) result oriented personality
• Excellent business communication skills in English both written and oral
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and effectively meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and to successfully interact and communicate to all levels of an organization
• SQL knowledge and experience is an advantage
• Excel / VBA is an advantage
