Chartering Manager (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:

The position of a Global Sourcing Chartering Manager is incorporated in our chartering team. The chartering team belongs to our Global Sourcing Logistics department, which is represented in all major markets such as but not limited to Europe, USA, Brazil, India, China and Australia strong exchange of fruit full information and challenging and demanding tasks is part of the day to day business. Key responsibility of Global Sourcing Logistics in one sentence: ‘Purchasing of transports from all factories to all global windfarm sites’.  

The key responsibilities are:

• Negotiation of sea transport contracts
• Negotiation of single and frame contracts for port handling and road transports
• Alignment of transports with the Logistics Operation Team
• Support tender / Sales activities, creation of logistic budgets
• Support Cost of Energy activities
• Support Engineering / definition of requirements during turbine development
• Regular interdisciplinary meeting with colleagues from different countries  

 

YOUR PROFILE: 

• Several years experience in the logistic / shipping industry
• Deep knowledge in terms and conditions for shipping contracts
• Ability to adopt the respond to different cultural behaviours
• Good knowledge in MS Office and SAP
• You are willing to travel
• You are fluent in English, German or Spanish are beneficial
• You are a team player
