Title Production Manager

Job Summary:

The Title Production Manager oversees the department providing comprehensive title insurance coverage and professional services for purchases and refinances.

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Accountable for the supervision and development of the production team.

·         Monitor/measure workload, quality of output and overall performance; make recommendations as necessary or required.

·         Make continuing improvements on cost reduction, process efficiencies, increased output while maintaining reduced errors.

·         Ability to interact with title insurance underwriters to resolve pre-closing issues.

·         Assist with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as required.

·         Capability of performing all duties of the production team including:

·         Coordination of multi-state title products utilizing specific vendors

·         Searching county records for residential properties in multiple states

·         Examination of the title to real property

·         Review title search products and their documentation in a timely and thorough manner

·         Verify ownership and encumbrances of real property

·         Production of title commitments and title policies in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy

Skills and Abilities:

A title production manager is a person who shoulders various responsibilities. Must be an energetic, confident, and positive individual who can easily build rapport with the colleagues. Must know how to balance various tasks simultaneously and deliver outstanding results in order to facilitate smooth functioning of the organizational activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 5 years experience residential abstracting and examining.
