Senior Project Specialist Finance Operations – SAP FI Key User (m/f/d)

Deine Mission

As a Senior Project Specialist Finance Operations – SAP FI Key User (m/f/d) with project focus, you will not only be deeply involved in Ratepay's finance processes, but you will actively contribute to new products and roadmap implementation. You will be part of the Finance team, but will focus on working in cross-functional teams, representing the interests of the Finance department and making sure that accounting, tax and process related issues are taken into account.

Key Responsibilities: 

• You drive, develop new and optimize existing processes in SAP and act as the interface between the Accounting, SAP IT and Product teams 
• You effectively connect and represent the finance and business needs in front of the SAP Technical team and are able to “translate” the technical constraints and solutions to the language of the business   
• You define requirements and booking logics for new products at Ratepay and perform testings in SAP and other related systems (e.g. invoice management software, treasury tools, etc.)
• You analyze the existing processes (e.g. FX revaluation, dunning process, data exchange with collection agencies, GL-subledger reconciliation, simplification of the chart of account structure, electronic invoicing, etc) and propose/develop optimized solutions
• You provide support for solving system errors and analyzing the reasons 
• You significantly support the transformation of Ratepay as active part of dedicated working groups by selecting new tools and software

Das bringst Du mit

• You have relevant professional education with a focus on accounting
• Experience in the banking and/ or payment industry as an advantage 
• You have thorough experience in SAP R3 FI, SAP 4/Hana, understanding the transactions and reporting functions, and knowing also the technical background of the functions. Experience with Microsoft Navision is an advantage
• You have many years of experience as SAP FI key user, in accounting and project management, possibly also in an SAP implementation 
• You like to familiarize yourself with new, complex issues and you are passionate about challenging the status quo and implementing topics
• You are interested to understand product flows end-to-end and to analyze process steps required from a system / accounting perspective
• In addition, you are a strong communicator, demonstrate a high level of service orientation towards all stakeholders involved and enjoy working as part of a team
• Even in time-critical, stressful (project) situations, you stay calm and communicate professionally
• You speak fluent German and very good English
