At ERM, we're looking for an experienced Consultant, Land Services Document Specialist to support electric transmission and distribution projects across the Richmond, VA and Charlotte, NC areas. This is a key role that helps ensure complex project documentation is accurate, organized, compliant, and readily accessible throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll play an important part in supporting land rights, permitting, and real estate documentation that enables essential infrastructure projects to move forward efficiently and successfully.

What You'll Bring
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years (3+ years preferred) of document control experience.
- Ability to handle large volumes of information systematically.
- Experience using electronic document management systems (EDMS), cloud storage platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple departments to streamline workflows and support project objectives.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under supervision while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting real estate, land rights, utility, energy, infrastructure, or environmental projects.
- Experience managing complex project documentation across multiple projects and locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, revise, and assemble project-specific real estate documents, including easement agreements, option agreements, licenses, access agreements, permits, and other land rights instruments in accordance with client requirements.
- Sort, label, categorize, and archive digital and paper files.
- Proofread and check documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting.
- Track revisions and ensure staff use only current, up-to-date document versions.
- Quickly locate and provide requested files to internal teams or external auditors.
- Follow strict privacy laws and company retention schedules.
- Maintain accurate and organized records across project phases.
- Support document retrieval, auditing, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and departments to improve document workflows and efficiencies.
For the Consultant, Land Services Document Specialist position, the anticipated annual base pay is $77,700–$96,600 (USD).
