Job Summary
This role will cover the Lebanon, PA territory working a hybrid schedule out of either the Lancaster or Middletown, PA office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
Responsible for adding annual growth margin by seeking out and converting profitable natural gas connections in the existing home, new home and commercial markets. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key residential and commercial developers and HVAC contractors to assist in effectively selling natural gas heating connections and additional appliances. Increase profitability in the residential and commercial new construction and conversion markets by reducing cost to serve and maximizing sales. Serve as a community liaison via community and industry organizations. Develop a working knowledge of UGI’s tariff and utilize growth programs at a beginner or intermediate level.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective customers related to escalated commercial conversions, GET Gas inquiries, and apartment complexes in an assigned territory. Confer with customers, growth execution specialists, and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements. Negotiate service contracts, terms, and conditions. Ensure sales targets are met while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Engage customer prospects that are along or nearby our mains, added load opportunities, or identified via marketing initiatives. Promote appliance saturation and commercial/industrial new technologies. Manage customer expectations by developing an understanding of growth processes.
- Develop positive business relationships with plumbing and heating contractors, builders, architects, engineers and municipal officials (e.g., township managers, municipal planners, zoning officials, etc.) to track future potential growth areas, as well as businesses and customers. Become an energy expert for internal and external parties. Represent UGI at energy events throughout the year. Exhibit the qualities of a community liaison.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates to lead and prospect information to allow for forecasting and marketing needs via the Fieldbook application. Participate in marketing initiatives, as assigned, to increase marketshare. Develop familiarity with general installation practices and procedures in order to offer solutions to customer-specific growth challenges.

Education and Experience
Level I Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field required or minimum 3 years industry or sales related experience in lieu of education.
- Minimum 2 years industry experience preferred with degree
