The Quality Assurance Technician Lead is responsible for maintaining quality assurance requirements as established by the Quality Management System (QMS). Provide real-time quality support. Oversee a team of QATs. Help to escalate and delegate daily problems as they arise. Act as primary point of contact for the team.

What You Will Do:

• Assists in interviewing and hiring new employees
• Mentors and trains team members
• Interfaces with various functions
• Organizes and prioritizes staff resources
• Oversees projects assigned to team members
• Maintains product quality by enforcing quality policies & procedures 
• Coordinates containment activities with Quality Engineers
• Collaborates and communicates effectively

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Previous operations or quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with hand tools and measuring equipment
• Experience interpreting and working from blueprints, customer specifications, purchase orders, written and verbal instructions as required
• Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills requiring minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Good communication skills (written/verbal) with an aptitude for conveying complex technical information to a wide variety of audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work productively with team members and cross functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead projects.
