Summary/Objective
The Office Accounting Manager is responsible for providing the primary office management services for Amports. This includes organizing and coordinating the financial operations of A/R, A/P, and payroll/HR, maintaining office services and efficiency, supervising office staff, and maintaining office records.
Essential Functions
- Financial Reports (flash, Volumes etc.) to Corporate by deadlines.
- Manage AP/AR and Account Coordinator Positions.
- Ensure AR/AP are completed in a timely manner.
- Communicate with Customers on AR/AP.
- Ensure Contracts are maintained, and rates are correct in IBM.
- Confirm all Customer systems are being used in accordance with Contract.
- Approve Payroll for Employees under OAM supervision.
- Assist General Manager as needed.
- Ensure AR Collections are maintained.
- Month End Close Reporting.
- Other duties as assigned by Corporate or General Manager.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.
Physical Demands
Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime.
Travel
Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Operations
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card)
