Introduction to the job

The highly engaged and personable ASML Talent Acquisition Team Lead  will lead a team of approximately 10 Talent Acquisition advisor’s. The TA team lead is mature, confident, creative, approachable, responsible and caring. TA in ASML is less operational than in other companies and more focused on projects, looking ahead, advising and coordinating. As a Team lead you focus on development, for this you have great communication and strong organizational and coaching skills. In this role you will design hiring strategies to proactively identify and fulfill future hiring needs by collaborating with department managers, TA advisors and HR. In the end, the responsibility of the TA team lead is to ensure, together with his team of TA advisors that, ASML attracts and hires the best employees, while coordinating the growth of the talent pipeline and the team.

Role and responsibilities

  • Manage the TA Delivery for allocated sectors within D&E Europe.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop TA advisors towards ASML job requirements, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.

  • Focus on developing the right skills of the team members and making sure they are in the right projects to promote their growth.

  • Capacity planning and workload management for your team in alignment with R&D TA manager

  • Steer and challenge performance of TA Delivery Team towards agreed KPI’s and customer expectations

  • Review and advice  your team in the preparation and deliver of the yearly TA Plan against hiring demand for your sectors

  • Project management of TA projects for the European region to improve upon Talent

  • Independent in advising the cluster managers/ departmental managers and management team members on TA topics for allocated sectors

Education and experience

  • You have managerial experience in Europe of at least 2 to 3 years, specifically with coaching and development of a team

  • You have at least 8 years’ experience working in multinational companies in The Netherlands or Europe

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree; Master’s level preferred.

  • Independent mindset you can drive delivery against target

  • Fluent in English (verbal and writing)

  • Experience in TA is a plus but not necessary.
