Associate Specialist, Customer Operations

Customer Support Specialist (CSS)

As a member of the Sales organization, a Customer Support Specialist (CSS) works closely with ADI’s Sales team to help proactively manage customer's requests with ADI.  The CSS supports and works with the Sales Team, Planning, Manufacturing, Business Units, Logistics, and various other teams within the company to help communicate requirements and expectations for assigned customers.  The CSS interfaces directly with the Sales team and assigned customers, including face-to-face visits, when required.

The CSS helps monitor revenue, backlog, production forecasts, and performance to sales plan. This person understands customer programs that drive revenue and ensures all backend systems are aligned to support anticipated demand.  The CSS works closely with various teams within the company on a day-to-day basis and is a point of escalation for both internal and external customers.  The CSS must be able to work independently without direct supervision, driving the goals of their accounts on behalf of ADI.

The CSS manages all pricing needs of the customers providing requests for quotes (RFQs), managing pricing contracts.  This includes being a focal point for contract negotiations coordinating with the contract center, providing input, and participating in negotiations.

This position requires excellent personal motivation with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a strong team environment.  The CSS must be multi-task oriented, flexible, positive, and able to adapt effectively to challenging and time sensitive situations.

 Qualifications 

• Service-oriented individual with a four-year bachelor’s degree
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with outstanding follow-through skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Evergreen positive attitude in challenging times
• Ability to proactively service business with a sense of accountability
• Proven problem-solving skills and business acumen
• Clear understanding of a customer-centric service model
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Able to perform with poise under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel, and good data intelligence
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and Power BI is a plus
