About the role

The position was mainly established to support the needs of ASSO group in offshore equipment manufacturing. The candidate will assist in the implementation of offshore projects. Installation, troubleshooting and repairing of electrical assemblies and systems ara part of the day-to-day tasks. Qualified candidates will be keen to develop troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and keen to participate in offshore projects on a rotation basis, as part of the offshore project team.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical (LV/MV) and Automation designs;
  • Design of the electrical works for the project’s installation (MV Substations /Drives / Transformers /Networks/ Electrical Panels / Security System);
  • Ordering of electrical equipment material;
  • Communication with suppliers and external partners;
  • Project management of electrical works (Electrical Panel construction, Wiring etc);
  • Sets up and tests units to meet specified requirements;
  • Keeps supervisor updated for any unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect production schedules;
  • Troubleshoots electrical and automation problems to determine route cause of issue and recommend a corrective action;
  • Maintains adequate inventories of electrical spare parts and requisitions replacements as required;

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field;
  • 3-5 years working experience as Electrical Engineer;
  • Good knowledge, clear understanding and familiarity with Medium and Low Voltage Power Systems;
  • Clear understanding of electrical and automation drawings;
  • Hands on experience with electrical and network applications;
  • Clear understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office;
  • Fluent in Greek and English (oral and written)
  • Professional experience in Medium Voltage Systems will be appreciated;
  • Experience and/or basic understanding of PLCs will be appreciated;
  • Professional experience in Maritime Industry will be appreciated but is not required;
  • Working experience in subsea equipment technology is a plus but is not required;
  • Τravel outside and inside Greece, onshore and offshore in line with business needs
